The concept is inspired by an old saying:

"constant dripping wears away a stone,"

which means persistence will overcome an obstacle.  

Inspiration

The constant dripping waterdrop wears away the stone so that it creates an emotional attachment to the user. It would remind users how long they have been using this product and create a connection between the user and the product.
