About Future Craft: Thailand + Japan
Future Craft is a collaboration between ArtCenter College of Design in California and Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan, students and faculty from both schools collaborate to envision new opportunities for design to create social impact with artisans in Northern Thailand, in partnership with the Lanna Culture & Crafts Association and the Thai Ministry of Industry.

It is designed with a higher value that can help to stimulate craft production on a larger scale and in turn helps to promote jobs for the craftsman. It can be used within homestay, homes globally or as public seating.
