System

The system consists of a bubble generator, a head piece with an embedded EEG sensor and a mobile app. Unlike traditional methods of meditation, Tranquilo gives the user real time feedback of their mental state through colored light and a physical bubble.

Brainwave

The user simply puts the EEG headpiece on and starts by focusing on the bubble Tranquilo forms. A small bubble means that the user is still in the active, or beta brainwave state, which is tracked accurately through the EEG sensors.

The Bubble

Tranquilo provides a light breathing guide and focal point, which is the bubble. Users can follow the center light to inhale and exhale to reach their calm state more quickly. The selection of colored light feedback is designed to communicate calm throughout the journey of the user’s mental state of active to calm.

Track Progress

Through the app, the user has the ability to dive deep into the data of a meditation session, to discover the amount of time it takes for them to reach a calmed state or how long they were able to sustain that state of mind.

Gesture Controlled UI

The product echos the ease of use of sliding into a new practice through its gesture controlled interface. Without having to touch the product, the user can go through the simple steps of setting a time and difficulty.

This provides a user-tested, intuitive first interaction between the user and the product, which becomes a ritual overtime. By not being distracted by buttons and switches, the user can delve immediately into their meditation session.

Q Brainwave Sensor

The Q Brainwave Sensor tracks the user's state of mind from active to relaxed utilizing EEG sensors. These are embedded in the headpiece and give real-time feedback through the bubble size and light color. The LED light on the back signifies to the user when the product is on.

Mobile Application

The user not only receives real time feedback of their current session, but through the mobile application, the user can track their progress over the course of days, months, and years.

Through the app, the user has the ability to dive deep into the data of a meditation session, to discover the amount of time it takes for them to reach a calmed state or how long they were able to sustain that state of mind. Knowing this data, the user can practice specific details, like using breathing, to reach their calm state quicker and longer.
